As a believer, we are the hands and feet of Jesus in this earth. God wants to bless people, and He wants to use you and me to do it! He wants to work through us to show His love and compassion and draw people to Himself.
Notice this verse tells us that love isn’t just about our words or thoughts;it’s about our actions. It’s about reaching out and meeting the needs of others. Sometimes, meeting a person’s need is as simple as sharing a smile, a hug or a word of encouragement. Sometimes it’s through material means. Can you pay for someone’s gas or groceries? Can you help them find a solution to a difficult situation? The Bible says that it’s His kindness that leads people to turn toward Him, and there are many ways to show the love of God.
Today, step out and show others what real love is. Every act of kindness is a seed that will produce a harvest in your own life in return. Today let me reassure you that God knows right where you are, and He knows how to get you to where you need to be. Even when things don’t go the way you planned, His hand is on you. Do not be afraid. Trust that God is working behind the scenes on your behalf, and that He will lead you into the life of blessing that He has prepared for you.

It’s interesting that the last thing Jesus said on the cross was “it is finished.” It certainly looked like the end. It looked like it was over. But I believe that wasn’t just a statement of fact; it was a statement of faith. He was saying to His Father, “I’ve done My part. I’ve fulfilled My destiny. Now I’ve got total trust and confidence in You that You are going to finish what You started.” Even though it looked like the end, in reality, it was only the beginning.
When it looks dark in your own life and things aren’t going your way, dare to make that declaration of faith just like Jesus. “It is finished.” What you’re really saying is “God, I know You are going to turn this situation around. I know You are going to heal my body. I know You are going to restore my family. I know You are going to give me the breaks that I need.” Don’t go around complaining. Speak victory over your circumstances. Trust that He is faithful and that He will complete what He’s started in you!
